I never really knew who his nurse was, as they never really talked to us. Most of the workers put their heads down when they walked by you as to not have to talk.. As soon as we thought he would have to go on Medicaid all they wanted to do was kick him out of the nursing home. We moved him to Sunny Hill nursing home and could not have been happier with the care he was given. I would not recommend Lakewood nursing home. The appearance was OK, the sanitation was good, and the rooms had two beds and a bathroom.

They had ice cream days, and they had an indoor birdcage where they can watch birds. The nurses were very good, but the admin staff was not very helpful on following up on issues.
